It is an interface board for communications. It has the same footprint as «Arduino UNO» or «OLIMEXINO STM32», being compatible with them. It can be punctured on top and has holes for adding screw terminals.

GPS:
The FGPMMOPA6H utilizes the MediaTek new generation GPS Chipset MT3339 that achieves the industry’s highest level of sensitivity (-165dBm ) and instant Time-to-First Fix (TTFF) with lowest power consumption for precise GPS signal processing to give the ultra-precise positioning under low receptive, high velocity conditions.
The module a revision of POT (Patch On Top) GPS Module with an extra embedded function for external antenna I/O and comes with automatic antenna switching function and short circuit protection, also features a antenna system called “Antenna Advisor” that helps with the detections and notifications of different antenna statuses, including active antenna connection, antenna open circuit and antenna shortage.
Up to 12 multi-tone active interference canceller (ISSCC2011 award), customer can have more flexibility in system design. Supports up to 210 PRN channels with 66 search channels and 22 simultaneous tracking channels, Module supports various location and navigation applications, including autonomous GPS,QZSS, SBAS(note) ranging (WAAS, EGNO, GAGAN, MSAS), AGPS. FGPMMOPA6H is excellent low power consumption characteristic (acquisition 82mW, tracking 66mW), power sensitive devices, especially portable applications, need not worry about operating time anymore and user can get more fun.

MAX3221:
The MAX3221 consists of one line driver, one line receiver, and a dual charge-pump circuit with ±15-kV ESD protection pin to pin (serial-port connection pins, including GND). The device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-F and provides the electrical interface between an asynchronous communication controller and the serial-port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single to 5.5-V supply. These devices operate at data signaling rates to 250 kbit/s and a maximum of 30-V/µs driver output slew rate.

MIC29302AWU:
The MIC29302A is a high-current, low-dropout voltage regulator that uses Microchip’s proprietary Super βeta PNP process with a PNP pass element. The 3A LDO regulator features 560 mV (full load) dropout voltage and very low ground current. Designed for high-current loads, these devices also find applications in lower current, low-dropout critical systems, where their dropout voltages and ground current values are important attributes.
Along with a total accuracy of ±2% (over temperature, line, and load regulation) the regulator features very fast transient recovery from input voltage surges and output load current changes.
The MIC29302A has an adjustable output that can be set by two external resistors to a voltage between 1.24V and 15V. In addition, the device is fully protected against overcurrent faults, reversed input polarity, reversed lead insertion, and overtemperature operation. A TTL/CMOS logic enable (EN) pin is available in the MIC29302A to shutdown the regulator.
When not used, the device can be set to continuous operation by connecting EN to the input (IN). The MIC29302A is available in the standard and 5-pin TO-263 and TO-252 packages with an operating junction temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.

Optocoupler SFH6156-2T:
The SFH6156 features a variety of transfer ratios, low coupling capacitance and high isolation voltage. This coupler has a GaAs infrared diode emitter, which is optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor detector, and is incorporated in a plastic SMD package. The coupling devices are designed for signal transmission between two electrically separated circuits.
